Director Health eyes blue eyed person for Dy director post in Dental College, lays vacant since 14 months | KNO

Since 14 months have passed, the post of Dy director Post in dental College is lays vacant. Sources in the department told  that Director Health is in no mood to fulfill the vacancy in department which he eying on blue eyed person. Pertinently the state government had announced that the vacant post in Health department would be filled up on a fast-track basis, however the department has failed to fill the post.

Officials in dental colleges wishing anonymity told  that from past 14 months, they are immensely suffering as the important post of Dy director lying vacant. They alleged that the director health want to fulfill that post only someone of his own choice. They said that there are many senior, experienced and competent officials there who are being ignored for the post.

They added that recently (former) Minister of health Bali Baghat said in a press conference in Nageen that the vacant post will be fulfill with in the seven days, but so far nothing happen due to self interested interventions. They added that no one is in department to see the work of director as the medicine and other work is still pending in department. They added that the government is not interested in streamlining the issues of health department. However sources from Dental College also told that Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) led by Dr Suhail Naik always raise issues related to dental college why not they raise this issue.

They said that this faction of DAK is hand in glove with director Health Service for self-interests and have patronage of the Director. When contacted DAK General Security, Dr Owais H Dar told Press Trust of Kashmir that they are going to raise this issue. Meanwhile when contact Director Health Saleem-ur-Rehman he did not respond to the phone call from this news gathering agency.
